So much for that, Her eyes are completely different shapes, thank you Custom House. Her left eye is almost the shape that it should be but the right one is all over the place. The only bit that vaguely matches is the corner next to her nose!
Epoxy time over the weekend then. I was planning on doing some sculpting anyway =__=

Woo! Traded off my SD13 boy body for a SD10 Nono, so now my Syo is a girl. And she’s adorable.

I’ve also sold off D, and put Marina, Lily, Mil’s spare head and Sylv’s body up as well. I want to feel totally happy with the dolls I have, so if selling some off is going to help then that’s what I’m going to do.

Done a bit of sewing recently, and when I’m finished the second part of the one I’m working on I’ll post a photo.

I’ve tried fighting it, but that Syo is determined to be a girl. His past two owners put him in dresses, and I’ve tried a few different looks on him but other than his resin not looking as bad with black leather, he just doesn’t suit being a boy at all.
So he’s nicked Ilye’s body and is now apparently a girl. Possibly called Shiori. With two children (who were Marina and D).
Lily is also likely not going to stay as she is either.

Now Ilye needs a new body – not that I liked her on her current one anyway – and the others need new wigs.
When I have no money because I’ve been too busy spending it all on Blue Exorcist.

And I have a SD13 boy body with no head to put on it because my two floating heads – Ilye and T.Lahoo – are both girls as well. Bah.

So much for “faceups done”!

Eden’s about halfway done now after the 4th attempt ]: I’m struggling to get her right.
Ilye’s had her eyelashes and eyebrows removed because I wasn’t happy with them, Hiroshi’s having a heavy touch-up, Mil, Arcadia and Momo are getting a bit more blushing… and I want to redo Marina and Epsilon’s.

Though I’ve got Marina up for sale so there doesn’t seem to be much point in redoing hers.

Eden’s body blushing is all done, though 8D one down, lots to go…

Faceups done!

Omg, can it be true? A-all of my dolls actually HAVE A FACEUP? :O

Means it’s nearly time to redo Eden’s, then XD I’m going to wait until her new body arrives, which was ordered 2 days ago now~ I can’t wait to get all of my dolls actually finished!

Uri’s furwig looks like a headmonster xD I need to fix it so it fits his head better and try to thin the fibres out a bit seeing as it looks more like a hat than a wig~

In other tasks: NAMES, damnit :< I suck at names at the moment. I guess that's what I get for buying unplanned dolls. I might call Minette Momo, she looks like a peachy kinda doll to me, even in whiteskin :B
Just leaves Uri, though I might call him Daniel - partly because that's the name of Momo's sidekick cat in Shinigami no Ballad, but also because that's the name of the ghost boy D in Another Code. Uri kinda looks like a D... I think I'll try those names on them for a while and see what I think of them.

Next job: clothes D8 I bought a clothing set from DOD's sale along with Eden's body so that's one SD girl outfit sorted, but that'll arrive in a couple months >: I’m gonna have to make lots of stuff…
Hogod I have 12 dolls to clothe and then the 13th to do when it arrives D8 why do I do this to myself

At least I’m finally kinda pleased with how Ilye looks >w< about time!

Right, off to try locate my errant sewing scissors and get on with some work…

Uri and Yeondu arrived on the 17th feb :3 no customs charge, either! Rather pleased about that :O

Just 3 heads on the faceup desk now, Yeondu is being done by Taru with me doing touchups :3 Uri and Ilye are needing another coat of MSC before I tackle any more paint @__@ Ilye just needs her eyebrows painted on, and Uri needs his eyelashes and maybe eyebrows. I’m thinking of not giving him any, same as Arcadia. Difference is that Arcadia doesn’t have any until her wig’s finished, whereas I think Uri would look weird with eyebrows.

Get to tackle making a furwig for him as well xD; I can’t find a black wig in Yo size that I like for him so a furwig seems like the easiest way to go for now. He’s my first doll to get a furwig o__o All of the others are fibre wigs but he’s a little ghosty/angel boy so far so he can have a softer look overall… even if his faceup makes him look a little like he has/had consumption. Whoops. He’s adorable anyway >w< and I didn't have any set plans for him so I'm just going with the flow~

Ilye's faceup is driving me slowly mad, I think if I have to redo it again I'll have to give her a light sanding =_= the pastels keep going on blotchy and there appear to be some scratches on one of her cheeks where it shows up as a dark line... I've cleaned most of the trouble areas off, so she won't be getting a lot of blushing actually on her cheeks now, just around her eyes as they seem ok >:

Got lots to order this month, ordering from DOD to get Eden a new body and an outfit I like that they’ve put on sale XD Then it’s Fairyland for Uri’s wings, Dollmore for some odds & ends (jumping on Taru’s order) and likely Luts again… so much stuff D8

Oh my word, what is this? Custom House have shipped my Uri and my sister’s Yeondu? :O About time!

Teenie tinies~

My Soom order came last month >w< a Unicenta and Human Minette set~ I was intending keeping the head and extra hands then just selling off the human body but as usual she's taken on a personality of her own and she's not just Arcadia's spare head. No idea who she is, but damn is she adorable! I finished almost all of the faceups I was working on yesterday so hopefully this new little one will get her name soon.

I'm pretty happy with all of the completed faceups now, which is definitely a good thing =.= so photos of Mil, Lily, Arcadia, Minette, Marina and Hiroshi will be forthcoming. Just got to wipe Ilye as the pastels went blotchy on her and hopefully Eden in the near future once I order her a new body. Not bad considering I had 7 heads on my desk a couple of days ago o__o;;

Still waiting on my orders from Aidolls/Custom House, but what’s new about that?

Whoooops again.

Resolution #1 has been pushed back a tad now, considering I got 2 days into 2011 and came home with a Volks Syo. A friend of mine has had him for a long, long time and randomly sent me a message just before new year asking if I wanted him. Wave bye bye to part of Salena’s savings, but he was so worth it.
He needs a new faceup and a new wig, but omg <3 he's such a sweetie.
I've always had a soft spot for the Yo-SD Syo but I've always basically crossed Volks off my wishlist rather than spend forever searching for the ones I wanted. This one pretty much dropped into my lap so I couldn't not bring him home~

I've been struggling with a name for him, mostly because the name I wanted to use already exists as another character elsewhere but I've finally given in and called him Hiroshi. The other Hiroshi dies as a baby/is stillborn so I don’t think it really counts ^^;

Anyway, he’s a sweetheart and hopefully I’ll get to work on faceups sometime this week D8
